Humidtropics scientists participated in the First International Sustainable Fine Cocoa Production Congress in Managua, Nicaragua. The event, which included 250 participants from the public and private sectors, academic and research institutions, and farmer cooperatives and associations, was an exchange that generated inputs for Nicaragua’s National Cocoa Plan. Humidtropics Provides Space for Inclusive, Evidence-Based, Bottom-Up Policy Making in Uganda
Following the establishment of Humidtropics’ Innovation Platforms (IPs) in Uganda in 2013, a number of activities that target livelihoods improvement have been implemented.
