New Virtual Integrated Systems Research Community of Practice

6 April, 2016 by Valérie Poiré Leave a Comment

Humidtropics is transitioning in 2016 from a CGIAR Research Program to a Virtual Community of Practice. The Community is for anyone interested in integrated system research for development in the humid tropics.

You can find here useful information and state-of-the-art discussions related to systems analysis, sustainable intensification, systems innovation and scaling, and crosscutting themes such as gender, youth, nutrition, and capacity development among others. This community is a one-stop-shop for agricultural researchers and development professionals who have a keen interest in improving the livelihoods and living environment of people based on social and technical innovations at farm, institutional and landscape levels.

We encourage your active participation in what is targeted to become a leading community on integrated systems research for development in the humid tropics of Africa, Asia and Americas. We welcome your opinions and would like to hear about your experiences with agricultural systems research. Your active participation in posting polls, questions, answers and documents, helps build a first class community that acts as a reference point and resource for researchers, practitioners, students, investors and any other interested party.
