A Decision-Making Tool to Efficiently Manage Smallholder Farms

Smallholder farms, all over the world, have diverse activities and a highly variable management capacity. In the last few decades, across Central America, partner organizations, national research institutes and CGIAR Centers have developed, tested and implemented many tools to help smallholders improve their decisions regarding various aspects of crop and livestock management. Effective Organizational Analysis for Humidtropics Action Sites

In 2013, a Situation Analysis (in Spanish) was carried out in the Nicanorte Action Site located in northern Nicaragua. A key component of this analysis was an Organizational Analysis (in Spanish), which involved the collection and analysis of primary data about organizational actors active in the Action Site.
